DISCLOSURE: I was invited to be a Popsicle® Mom Ambassador and have been sharing ideas for  fun, crafts and cool treats with you. I am being compensated for my participation but as always my opinions and experiences are 100% my own. Thank you for coming along for the ride! You can read more about my Ambassadorship on my previous post here.

School has started. This little guy is now a Kindergarten boss. Just look at that face. How can I say no to that face? (Obviously I didn’t say no.)

Even though our Summer vacation is over, we still have 25 days until the Autumn Equinox and we have plans to stretch our summer fun through every single one of them. We made a big wish list at the beginning of August where the boys listed their top 3 end of summer big activities they still wanted to do and we are about half way through the big stuff (go to a water park, go to the amusement park, go on a hike, etc.).

There are still lots of little things they want to do though! We aren’t really much for throwing big parties around here since our schedule is so wonky from everyone else’s, but we do know how to make the fun last for all it’s worth.

That is why for my Popsicle Pop-Up Party this summer I’ve been doing things our way – DIFFERENTLY! We like to plan, plot and dream big and stretch things out. So I thought I would share our continuing inspiration for doing more of that and taking full advantage of the next 25 days! We don’t always have the chance to go big with how we celebrate, just because our life is so hectic and different, but we can do something big in small bites!

Speaking of small bites, my little mighty man up in the first picture is indeed enjoying a Mighty Mini from Popsicle. Have you tried Popsicle Mighty Minis? They are pure genius – tiny popsicles perfect for small hands and mouths that *magically* melt slower than usual. So cool.

I digress.

So, I created an End of Summer Pinterest board to help us work our way through some of our favorite ideas for crafts, games, activities, food and treats! Once the weather cooperates one day in the next week or so we have plans to pass out Popsicles to random strangers at the splash pad too if we can or even just to neighbors driving by on our street. We already did this once on our vacation to Idaho at the beach for our own little Popsicle Pop-up Party at the beach and it was so fun – the kids loved sharing the treats with other kids! (Since they were random strangers I didn’t try to take their pictures, but the kids thought it was hilarious).

For our beach excursion we took the self contained Sponge Bob Push-up Popsicles with us. It seemed obvious and appropriate – which since they are in their little cardboard contain. And believe me, since it was pretty hot outside we appreciated having those treats to cool off with!

In the meantime, why not take things a bit at a time and slow down long enough to make a quick, fun and easy memory. Trust me. It’s a great way to take a break and ease into the next season! This weekend is the perfect opportunity with Labor Day on the way! To help you out with that I’m giving away two more prize packs from Popsicle this week that include coupons and a $25 Target gift card. It’s easy to enter below!
