Twenty *official* days of Summer left. The Autumn Equinox is coming whether I really want it to or not… although I think I’m getting more ready than I felt last week. Probably mostly has to do with these two starting school!
As awful as it sounds, we have already started with some sore throats around here and though that definitely isn’t fun, it is probably one of the reasons that Popsicles are a staple in our freezer. So, even if you are sad about summer coming to an end, there is always a good excuse to enjoy a frozen treat and numb that scratchy throat. My favorite for when we need a little Popsicle TLC are the classic flavors – luckily everyone has their favorite and there isn’t a lot of arguing. I’m a fan of the Banana, Aidan loves the Lime and Cole is all about the Root Beer. Any of the flavors just take me back to when I was a kid and ate the Popsicles whenever I had to stay home sick from school. It’s a simple, comforting memory.
